Full Moon Rising!

Tonight in San Diego we will see the full Beaver Moon of November, a night when the moon is closest to the earth each month.  They call it the Beaver Moon because “this was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs,” according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac.  November’s full moon is almost-supermoon because it is getting close to winter and it looks larger more massive.   The moon moves into Cetus (The Whale), with dim stars looks washed-out in the Northern Hemisphere.   Taurus (The Bull), the brightest constellation near-by can easily be picked up.  We would love for you to join us this fall & winter for our amazing Full-Moon paddle-boarding tour.

Don’t forget that tomorrow the time changes and we fall back an hour!
